Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German television, turned her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. After high school, she graduated and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English from New York. She studied acting classes at the HB Studios. She later moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. Her parents were Hindu as well as an Indian father Ghanshan K Mahendru and who was a Russian mother Olga. Her father moved her to East Meadow, New York, when she was 13 years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. Also, she played recurring characters in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
