Emily Irene VanCamp originally wanted to become professional dancer. But, while spending time with her sister Katie on The Ladies Room movie set, Emily became fascinated by acting. Alongside learning to act, VanCamp landed the role of a guest on a TV show in Canada. The TV shows she was a part of include Are You fearful of Dark? Radio Active and Dice. VanCamp made a breakthrough in his career when he got a role on the WB horror-mystery series Glory Days as Sam Dolan. The show was cancelled after nine episodes despite receiving favorable review from the public. The actress who was born on the 12th of May 1986 was quick to land an additional role on Everwood. She played Amy Abbott. She was nominated to win four Teen Choice Awards and a Young Artist Award.
